The idea to start 4 Alpha Planning came early in 2023. The owner, Mark Arce, wanted to bring his skillset and knowledge to the industry in a different way. 4 Alpha is rooted in the core values of integrity, strong work ethic, and client compassion. Unlike traditional consulting firms that want to oversell and under deliver, 4 Alpha was created to focus on the mission and values of our clients. This allows us to work in line with your culture and deliver overall project success as a true member of your team.
Our name comes from our owners history. Mark Arce is a 20 year veteran of the United States Air Force, and still currently serves our great country in the USAF Active Reserves. The USAF assigns Air Force Specialty Codes (AFSC) to all job positions. Mark spent 16 years as a Biomedical Equipment Technician, which has the AFSC of 4A2. This is verbalized as "Four Alpha Two". All AFSC's assigned under Healthcare Support Services begin with "4A". As a company that is aimed to provide support services to our clients, the name seemed obvious...4 Alpha!
